Sodium tripolyphosphate is one of the commonly used water reducing agents for concrete
Firstly, it is important to understand that the strength and durability of concrete are related to the amount of cement used and the water cement ratio. The more cement is used, the smaller the water cement ratio, and the better the strength and durability of concrete. However, excessive cement usage can increase the cost of concrete and make it difficult to construct. Therefore, in order to ensure the strength and durability of concrete while reducing costs and improving construction efficiency, it is necessary to add a water reducing agent. Sodium tripolyphosphate is one of the commonly used water reducing agents for concrete.
Formula of concrete admixture:
(1) A composite high-efficiency concrete admixture using polycarboxylic acid series condensates as anti segregation components, naphthalene series high-efficiency water reducing agents as base materials, and sodium tripolyphosphate as a plastic retention component.
(2) The addition amount of polycarboxylic acid series condensates is 4% to 7% of that of naphthalene series high-efficiency water reducing agents.
(3) The dosage of sodium tripolyphosphate is 0.4% to 0.8% of that of naphthalene based high-efficiency water reducing agent.
(4) The naphthalene series high-efficiency water reducing agent is a combination of two types of naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate high-efficiency water reducing agents with different condensation degrees and water reduction rates greater than 25%. The ratio of the two high-efficiency water reducing agents is 1:1.
Concrete is a commonly used material in construction engineering, and its strength and durability directly affect the quality and lifespan of buildings. Sodium tripolyphosphate as a water reducing agent can improve the performance of concrete, enhance its strength and durability. In the process of concrete production, it is necessary to select appropriate water reducing agents according to the specific situation to achieve the best effect.
