Since the successful test run of Chongqing Wansheng Chuandong Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Chongqing Chuandong Chemical (Group) Co., Ltd. on December 28, 2017,and the implementation of the whole plant's smoking ban,for a time,"smoking ban" has become the goal of the whole group's molecular companies to learn from each other.Guizhou Huishui Plant Area,Kaiyang Plant Area and Sichuan Leshan Plant Area all began to ban smoking one after another.Guangxi Liucheng Chuandong Chemical Company has implemented the strictest smoking ban in the factory in history.Whoever smokes in any part of the factory will be severely punished mentally and economically.
The former director of Chuandong Chemical Plant in Chongqing,a veteran smoker,had given up smoking countless times without success.Since the factory began to ban smoking,in order to work "forced" to give up smoking,in just a few months,smoking addiction seems not so big,used to need a few packs of cigarettes every day,now a day and a half do not smoke seems to be uncomfortable.(Maybe someday,the factory director's wife will write a deep thank-you letter to the system maker in Chuandong!)
In fact,thirty years ago,smoking ban was also advocated in factories.But it was questioned by many people at that time.Because at that time,the main products of chemical industry in Chuandong were only phosphate series.Apart from yellow phosphorus (yellow phosphorus,chemical formula P4,also used to be white phosphorus),its flammable temperature is about 30 degrees,and its ignition point in wet air is only about 40 degrees in time.Therefore,the strict prohibition of fire has long been implemented in factories and warehouses where water seal and phosphoric acid are used.Other products - sodium tripolyphosphate,sodium hexametaphosphate,sodium pyrophosphate,trisodium phosphate,disodium hydrogen phosphate,sodium dihydrogen phosphate,these products themselves are not flammable."No smoking" seems too harsh!
However,with the continuous upgrading and improvement of the chemical product chain in Chuandong,there are several star products in Chuandong Chemical Industry - formic acid series,and at the beginning of the 21st century has its own invention patents related to formic acid.
Formic acid,colorless smoking flammable liquid,its flash point is 69 C.Not only that,because formic acid and phosphoric acid are both acidic liquids,plastic products (plastics,flammable solids) are almost used in production,transportation and storage.With the popularity of formic acid and formate products in Chuandong Chemical Industry,their output and output value of the Group are also growing.In this way,it is inevitable that there should be no ignition in the factory,and that the smoking ban in the whole factory should be imposed.
In 2015,when Chongqing Wansheng Factory Area just signed the contract for plant construction,the leaders put forward "no smoking",and no one raised any objections.
Guangxi Liucheng Chuandong Plant,660,000 square meters of plant area.Although a large number of products are mainly sodium tripolyphosphate (convenient for export) and sodium hexametaphosphate in large factories,there are very few dangerous products.In the form of "safe production" as the primary policy,Liucheng Chuandong Chemical Industry must ban smoking in the whole plant.
