Sodium tripolyphosphate(STPP) is synthesized by neutralizing phosphoric acid with sodium orthophosphate and condensation. STPP is soluble in water and its aqueous solution is alkaline. So, what is the dissolving condition of STPP?

First, try to gradually heat the STPP. With the increase of temperature, STPP will have a stronger solubility. Usually, as the temperature of the dissolving environment increases, the insoluble STPP will gradually dissolve in water and become clear.
