Calcium formate is also a new type of low-temperature early-strength coagulant. It is mainly used in construction mortar and various concretes to accelerate the hardening speed of cement, shorten the setting time and cement setting time, and is of great significance in construction.

The (minor) fluctuations in the fineness of the material in the sieve particle size analysis are attributed to its manufacturing process, but it is not used as a quality standard. Calcium formate is a concrete additive that accelerates the setting and hardening of concrete.

Accelerating the setting and hardening of concrete means:

1. Shorten the initial setting time.

2. Normally change the retardation of cement under low temperature conditions.

3. Increase the growth rate of early strength.

4. Shorten the mold closing time in the module in the production of concrete precast parts.

5. Shorten the time for concrete to reach the load capacity.

The final setting time is the time required for the cement slurry to completely lose its plasticity and begin to develop strength from when the cement is mixed with water. Especially in winter construction, the use of industrial grade calcium formate can avoid too slow coagulation at low temperatures and quick release of the film, so that the cement product can be put into use as soon as possible.
