Feed grade calcium formate helps you solve three major problems of piglet breeding

The wish of the farmers is also very simple. The animals are less ill, the feed conversion rate is good, and the income is good. Therefore, when encountering many problems in piglet breeding, it is necessary to avoid the use of a large number of antibiotics. Today, CDchem will elaborate on the three major problems of feed-grade calcium formate in piglet breeding.

1.The stress that occurs in the weaning period of piglets

Generally speaking, weaning piglets are vulnerable to disease because of immature immune system, because the gastrointestinal tract is not fully developed, and their own resistance will decrease when they are separated from the environment of breast milk. The unreasonable diet will cause weaning stress.

Feed grade calcium formate can reduce the PH value of gastrointestinal tract, help activate pepsinogen, make up for the deficiency of digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid secretion in the stomach of piglets, and improve the digestibility of feed nutrients. It prevents the growth and reproduction of E. coli and other pathogenic bacteria, and promotes the growth of some beneficial bacteria such as Lactobacillus. Beneficial bacteria such as Lactobacillus can cover intestinal mucosa and protect it from toxins produced by Escherichia coli, thus preventing diarrhea associated with bacterial infection.

2.Feed acidifier

Acidifiers are often used in feedstuffs. Acidifiers also have material prices. The profit of farming is not guaranteed, and the income is not proportional to the input. Macromolecular organic acids, such as citric acid, lactic acid, fumaric acid, etc., can dissociate less hydrogen ions per unit weight of acid molecule because of their high molecular weight. Therefore, they are less effective than small molecular organic acids in reducing PH value and feed acid binding capacity.

Although in recent years there are many domestic and foreign about the use of Acidifiers such as citric acid in piglet feed, although it can significantly reduce diarrhea caused by feed indigestion and inhibit bacterial dysentery, reduce the mortality rate of piglets and improve the growth rate of piglets, but the addition of free organic acid will make the feed production process more acidic and corrode the equipment seriously.

At present, feed grade calcium formate will not be deliquescent, fluidity is good, neutral PH value will not cause equipment corrosion. Formic acid, as an organic acid, can act as a chelating agent in the digestion process and promote the absorption of minerals in the intestine.

3.Lack of high quality calcium source in piglets

Traditional feed grade stone powder is mainly composed of calcium carbonate, but the health indicators such as heavy metals are also strictly required. Stone powder in feed also plays a role in supplementing calcium for animals. However, long-term use of stone powder will affect the digestion and absorption of nutrients in livestock and poultry, and even form inflammation, resulting in a large number of gastric acid in the intestine will be neutralized, indirectly. Cause diarrhea in piglets, which can produce stones seriously.

Feed grade calcium formate can be used in feed instead of stone powder. For example, the feed grade calcium formate of CDchem contains more than 30% calcium. It belongs to organic calcium and does not need the participation of gastric acid in piglets. It will not increase the burden of intestine and stomach of piglets and help digestion and absorption.

Feed grade calcium formate can better help the growth of piglets. It has been widely used in breeding, indicating that the use of feed grade calcium formate in additives is green and can be used for a long time.
