Chemical properties: white needle like or rod like crystal with slight chlorine smell. Melting point 62 ℃, pH value 11.7. Soluble in water. It is stable at room temperature and easy to decompose when heated. In aqueous solution, insoluble phosphate crystals can be formed directly with calcium, magnesium and heavy metal ions, which can transform water and make insoluble substances in water agglomerate and settle.
