Sodium phosphate tribasic dodecahydrate is colorless cubic crystal or white powder. Density 1.62g/cm3. Melting point 73.3℃. Decompose at 76.7℃. Turns into anhydrous substance after heating to 100℃ after losing 12 crystal water. Weathering in the dry air. Easily soluble in water. Its aqueous solution is strong alkaline. Insoluble in carbon disulfide and ethanol.
